2013 Discussion Group

The History of Feminism Network is excited to announce the programme of its 2013 Discussion Group at the Institute for Historical Research. All meetings will take place at Senate House, on Russell Square, and will begin at 5:15 pm, unless stated otherwise.

Anyone with an interest in the history of feminism is welcome to come along.

Thursday 17 October 2013, 5:30-7pm: ‘The Second Wave Feminist Movement, Motherhood and Reproduction’ (Room: Stewart House Basement 2)

Thursday 31 October 2013, 5:15-7pm: ‘The Second Wave Feminist Movement, Bodies, and Sexualities’ (Holden Room, Room 103)

Thursday 14 November 2013, 5:15-7pm: ‘The Second Wave Feminist Movement and Race’ (Room: Stewart House Basement 7)

Thursday 28 November 2013, 5:15-7pm: ‘Socialism, Class Politics and the Second Wave Feminist Movement’ (Court Room)

Thursday 12 December 2013, 5:15-7pm: ‘Taking Stock: Writing and Researching Histories of the Second Wave Feminist Movement’ (Room: G21A)
