Remembering Beliefs: The Shifting Worlds of Religion and Faith in Secular Society

The deadline of 30th June to register for the Oral History Society annual conference at Leeds Trinity University is fast approaching. The conference, titled Remembering beliefs – the shifting worlds of religion and faith in secular society, promises to be one of our most exciting and original. It will include presenters who are new to oral history as well as others who are well known for their contribution to the field talking about belief, secularism and non-belief in all their many forms.

Keynote speakers are: Professor Callum Brown, University of Glasgow; Dr Abby Day, Goldsmiths, University of London; Dr Tina Block, Thompson Rivers University, British Columbia. The after dinner speaker on Friday night is Bruce Kent, former general secretary of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and peace campaigner.
